39th Anniversary of Roe Vs. Wade – 21-22 Jan Weekend (Arkansas)
January 13, 2012Posted by on
Just two short weeks away marks the 39thanniversary of the passing of Roe Vs. Wade decision to ‘legalize’ the murder of innocent life. True pro-lifers know that it is not ‘legal’ in the economy of God and He still holds men / women guilty. Ezekiel 18:20 says, “The soul who sins will die,” and in Deuteronomy 24, “Fathers will not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin.” God calls murder sin. Abortion is sin. This land is filled with bloodguiltiness. Why won’t Christians “sigh and cry for all the abominations that be done” (Ezekiel 9:4) in this land “until the fierce wrath of our God over this matter [be] turned away from us” (Ezra 10:14)? Ignorance is not an excuse. See Proverbs 24:11-12. The blood of Jesus can cleanse us from all iniquity.
The weekend of 21-22 Jan, Mark Kiser (417-773-4840) of Operation Save America (States of Refuge) will be visiting the saints in Arkansas to participate in street ministry and fellowshipping. A brief itinerary follows:
Saturday, the 21st, plan is to conduct street ministry at the prophesied the murder mill to be closed. If this is what “thus saith the Lord God”then it will happen! God’s word never returns void, but will accomplish that which [He] pleases (Isaiah 55:11). And Scripture says clearly, “Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it” (Lamentations 3:37)?
Sunday, the 22nd, Pastor Kiser is praying about having a church to speak at, if the Lord Jesus is willing. If not, he will attend a local church service. That Sunday afternoon the March for Life will occur. This will serve to be a good opportunity to hand out States of Refuge fliers and Rusty’s PSA fliers. Mr. Kendrick, from the movie Courageous, is endorsing the States of Refuge campaign. News like this could benefit States of Refuge in terms of publicity, should the Lord be pleased.
Some news in advance, before closing just to let ya’ll know- the first weekend in May, Word in Warfare is planning on being here to read the entire Bible, yes, from front to back, in front of the mill. It is a 24-hour operation until complete. This is a powerful way to confront the wicked hosts of darkness. (Hmmm, just a thought, but wouldn’t it be great if every church leader would lead the same effort in their church buildings.) Please let us know you are interested in participating; we need as many as are able and willing.
Anyway, we are living in exciting times but these times require faith lived out loud, on the streets, becoming biography. It’s one thing to have faith in quiet days, but what about troubled, nasty, dark days? These are the days that God will start separating the faithful from the faithless – the remnant will stand as light and be as David against goliath, confronting wickedness in high places. “And the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandment of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17) “and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death” (Revelation 12:11).
